Swan Clone, Estate Pinot Noir
Each sip of this wine brings a word association game to mind. Swan Clone . . . Swan Lake . . . Ballet . . . Ballet Dancers . . . Graceful. And like the ballet dancers themselves, this wine has a gracefulness to the palate with the structure to support it. A wine that is light on its feet, evoking flavors and aromas of just-ripe strawberry, fresh cherry and cinnamon. Each time you open a bottle is an Opening Night not to be missed.

Gee Vineyard Pinot Noir
Gee Vineyard is infused with so much of Dr. Gee’s personality, it shines through in every bottle. A man who wears a permanent smile on his face, and a wine that brings a smile to each person who drinks it. A man so kind and giving, and a wine so giving of its terroir. This is a wine of devotion. Each vine was planted by hand in 1981 and each vintage has been crafted with this devotion in mind.
Terraces, Estate Pinot Noir
A perfect example of a wine that emphasizes site above all else. The same clones of Pinot Noir planted elsewhere on our property produce wines with lighter fruit profiles. Usually when someone is labeled “difficult to work with”, that’s a negative. However, in the case of the Terraces Pinot Noir, being difficult to work with is a bonus. These vines don’t come in highly-manicured, perfectly straight rows. They don’t have just a single sun exposure. The soil profile isn’t uniform throughout the block. The Terraces vines produce brooding, powerful wines with layers of intense structure. The terraced hillsides are difficult to farm, but the wines are easy to love.

Dijon Clone, Estate Pinot Noir
You may have met my sister (Pommard Clone) by now. What can I say; she’s flashy, juicy and succulent. I know what they say about me, “She’s more reserved and mercurial, blah blah blah.” But give me time and once I unwind . . . watch out! Layers of dark fruit, entwined with more spice than I know what to do with. Like I said, give me time . . . but don’t miss your chance and don't leave without me.

Pommard Clone, Estate Pinot Noir
I hear my sister (Dijon Clone) is already telling lies. Yes, it’s true. I’m juicy. I’m succulent. Heck, I’m even bigger and bolder than some of my Cabernet friends here in Napa. But does that make me a villain? Dijon Clone is just a spicy diva, jealous of the flirtatious relationship I’ve already created with wine drinkers. Yes, you and I both know who you’re leaving with.

Estate Pinot Meunier
Pinot Meunier is a dichotomy; a sip of sunshine and fog at the same time. One day it will be a bright, fresh vision of grace. Think strawberry and pomegranate; perfect for a lively conversation. The next day it will be a brooding, savory wine. Earthy mushrooms, cinnamon and blackberry; like a rainy day best spent snuggled up on the couch indoors. Either way, it’s unique and delicious.

Hyde Vineyard Syrah
Warning: drinking the Hyde Vineyard Syrah will lead to your inability to do math correctly. Just one sip will make you completely sure that 40 plus 2 equals 1. This anomaly is due to the fact that 40 years of growing amazing Hyde Vineyard fruit in Carneros by a father and son team (Larry and Chris — the 2) adds up to 1 great wine. A true Carneros cool climate Syrah, with vibrancy to match the layer upon layer of flavors and depth the Hyde Vineyard is known for.

Las Madres Vineyard Syrah
Winemakers love good gossip — the juicy, succulent, good dirt. Juicy gossip is how we found this gorgeous vineyard on the Sonoma side of Carneros. Shhhhhh, don’t give away our spicy secret.

“Hidden Block” Diamond Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon
Thankfully Robert Frost wasn’t a winemaker here at Bouchaine because recently we came to a fork in the road, one leading to Pinot Noir and the other to Cabernet Sauvignon. Instead of just choosing one path, well, we just took both! Sure our hearts belong mostly to our beloved Carneros Pinot Noir, but every once in a while we love a great glass of Cabernet too. Lots of structure on the palate with silky tannins, this Cabernet Sauvignon is a great example of what Napa has to offer when you stray out of Carneros. Just don’t be gone too long.

Copeland Blend, Estate Pinot Noir
A phenomenal bottle of wine doesn’t happen by accident. It takes years, even decades, for everything to come together. Vineyards need to be farmed meticulously. Winemaking teams need experience with the fruit and the site. The weather needs to be just so. And winery owners, well, they need . . . patience. This wine is a special treat for everyone. A blend created by the winemaking team to honor our owners, the Copelands. It’s our way of saying, “Hey, we love you!” And we really love you because we only bottle this wine in magnums.

Hyde Vineyard Chardonnay
Down in the southern end of Napa Valley, we have a mindset called “Carneros Casual.” Our idea of a traffic jam is getting stuck behind a tractor. The Hyde family has been farming in Carneros for decades, but don’t let their casual exterior fool you. They grow some seriously great grapes. Our Hyde Vineyard Chardonnay is a true Carneros wine. Easily approachable with its lush, juicy flavors and aromatics, yet unwavering in its power and structure.

Chêne d’Argent (Unoaked) Chardonnay
This Chardonnay has had a wardrobe malfunction. It stands naked before us, laid bare without even a hint of oak. A pure expression of the Chardonnay grape to highlight its grace and freshness; lemongrass, Gravenstein apple and Asian pear. OK, go ahead and look. She is beautiful.

Bouche de Beurre (Reserve) Chardonnay
If you really love Chardonnay, then you’ll really, really love this Chardonnay. And if you really don’t like Chardonnay, well . . . you’re still going to love this wine. It’s got power and grace at the same time. Fresh, vibrant acid with bold, golden flavors. Lovingly crafted from the get-go and tightly hugged by French oak barrels for 10 months. Try it; we dare you not to like it.

You will find layered, lovely aromas of fuji apple, clementines, kaffir lime and jasmine. A rich, yet tangy palate showcases flavors of nectarine, lemon curd and brioche with a long lip-smacking finish. Pair this with a roast chicken, a thick pork chop or just good friends.

Estate Pinot Gris
We’ve all seen enough Superhero movies to know what a mutant is. DNA getting zapped in just the right way to make something amazing. That makes our Pinot Gris a Superhero of wines since it is a mutation of Pinot Noir. However, when you drink Pinot Gris, you won’t have to worry about alien invasions. All you have to worry about is whether there’s enough to share.

Vin Gris of Pinot Noir
It’s been said that learning another language when you’re older is tough. Not true. Vin Gris of Pinot Noir is a lesson in the French language. Vin Gris actually translates to “Wow! That’s tasty!” Now that’s all the French you need to know.

Las Brisas Vineyard Pinot Blanc
When was the last time you wrote a love note for that special someone in your life? A brief, yet passionate ode to the one who makes your heart skip a beat. Need some help? “Until I see you again, my heart will break each moment you’re away from me. At day’s end your embrace is the glue that makes me whole again.” OK, fine. Maybe that’s a bit much. So try this. “Aromas of green melon and citrus. With flavors of pear and apricot dancing on the palate. Let’s enjoy this bottle of Pinot Blanc after work today. I love you.” We here at Bouchaine have done all the hard work for you. Now just go enjoy the evening.

Las Brisas Vineyard Riesling
The Las Brisas Riesling is like dancing through fields and meadows. A wine reminiscent of your favorite things as Spring emerges from Winter’s grasp. The aromas will remind you of your favorite flowers in the garden. Flavors that excite the palate and encourage you to clean off the grill and sharpen your cooking knives. And all of this by the first sip, so finish the glass and see where it takes you.
Rosé of Syrah
Vivid aromas of watermelon, wild strawberry, cantalope and nectarines. The palate opens with ruby red grapefruit, strawberries and kumquat notes. Lovely tight acidity; a perfect wine to pair with Asian dishes and fresh salads. Or just stick a straw in it!
Crescendo Chardonnay
A rich and succulent expression from the oldest vines on our estate, planted in 1981. Oak from ancient forests in France adds nuance to flavors of juicy apple, nectarine, and lilac. A symphony of flavors in the glass!

Bouche d’Or Late Harvest Chardonnay
We go to war to get this wine made. Truly, we do. Every year we ready our weapons to keep the enemy out . . . the birds that feast on our grapes. We may not be using bullets and missiles, but rather bird-netting and falcons. The onslaught of the enemy lasts well into November, but in the end we prevail. What remains is a late-harvest Chardonnay with a sweetness you’d expect, and the beautiful, mouth-watering acidity of Carneros. Thankfuly none of our blood, sweat and tears are evident in the bottle.
